Features

  • Deposits a premium grade austenitic manganese steel with high chromium levels, which help to work harden more quickly, and to a higher degree than a non-chromium bearing manganese steel
  • Ideal for situations with high impact and moderate wear
  • Used to build up and repair manganese steel components, and it can be used as the final layer of hardfacing
  • Interpass temperature to be kept below 500F
  • Chemistry: Fe-Mn-Cr-C
  • Unlimited layers can be deposited with proper welding procedure
  • Machinable with carbide tools
  • Will not cross crack
  • Applications include: Manganese steel rock crushing hammers, rolls, buckets/teeth, impactor bars, gyratory mantles, dredge components
