  • Boron addition helps to facilitate a higher hardness, especially in single layer applications. Boron also promotes refined carbide size.
  • Formulated to develop less spatter and “trash” than traditional chromium carbide overlay products.
  • High abrasion resistance, low impact resistance
  • Can be utilized in hot wear applications up to 1100°F
  • Maximum of 2 layers is recommended
  • Applications include: Grinding/pulverizing rolls and table segment, wear plates, clad pipe
