Features

  • Designed for welding in all positions where well washed beads can be achieved with minimal weaving in both 100% CO₂ or 75-80% Ar/balance CO₂ shielding gas
  • Smooth arc transfer produces minimal spatter.
  • The ferrite number (FN) of the weld deposit is typically < 5 FN.
  • Alloyed to produce good hot-ductility properties for resistance against weld or crater cracking under restraint conditions.
  • Applications for this alloy type include welding stainless steel grades such as 16-8-2, 316, and 347 in high -pressure, high-temperature piping systems.
