  • Highly alloyed to produce high density of primary chromium carbides in an austenitic matrix
  • Weld deposits produce a fine self-stress relieving cross check pattern
  • Recommended for high abrasion and moderate impact resistance
  • Typically recommended for two layer applications, but with automated weld procedures, can be applied multiple layers on coal and cement grinding rolls and grinding rings (contact Select-Arc’s technical support group for more information)
  • Hot wear to 1100F (593C)
  • Typical applications:crusher rolls and grinding rings, ripper shanks, large bucket lips and teeth, auger and auger flights, crusher cage pins, sugar mill rolls, wear plates and ID of pipes
