Features

  • Provides a tough underlayment upon which subsequent hardfacing layers may be placed, or can be used as the final layer in low stress metal-to-metal wear applications.
  • Formulated such that the slag removes easily even at high temperatures.
  • Unlimited layers can be deposited with proper welding procedure
  • Applications include: Shafts, wheels (mine cars, cranes, etc.), continuous caster rolls
  • Harder than both SelectWear BU-S and BU24-S
